Our next show is Billy Liar by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall. Auditions will be held at Blackfriars on Sunday 7th March 1-4pm, Monday 8th March 8pm and Tuesday 9th March at 8pm.

The play will be performed May 12th to 15th and will be our entry in the Skegness Play Festival May 24th to 29th 2010.

You do not have to have to attend all auditions in order to be considered for a part. The workshop will also help build confidence and work on Northern accents. Audition pieces are available in hard copy in Blackfriars foyer. Roles available are as follows:

William "Billy" Fisher - 19
Alice Fisher - Billy's mother.
Geoffrey Fisher - Billy's father.
Florence Boothroyd - Billy's grandmother.
Arthur Crabtree - Billy's best friend.
Barbara - One of Billy's fiancees.
Rita - 17, one of Billy's fiancees.
Liz - A young scruffy girl who Billy is smitten with.
